Custom reporting: your framework, your language, our science
CUSTOM REPORTS BUILT FOR ORGANIZATIONS LIKE THESE
What we customize most
The five requests we get most often, and what each one changes about the output.
Interview guides
Hiring managers get a report in your competency language, with the interview questions and evidence to ask for, instead of a profile they have to interpret before the interview starts.
Manager conversations
Development reports that use your behaviors and point at the actions your own framework expects, so a manager and their direct report plan from the same page rather than from a generic list of strengths.
Succession and promotion
Leadership outputs mapped to your own leadership model, so a succession or promotion discussion happens in the language the board already uses and the same read applies at every level.
Group comparisons
Group views and dashboards that show a population against your framework, so a talent review compares like with like and the gaps you fund are the ones your model says matter.
Assessor packs
Assessor material written in your criteria, so everyone scoring on the day works from the same definitions and the write-up afterwards needs no rewriting before it reaches the hiring panel.
Three ways we build it
Custom reports
Built in your framework and your brand
-
Your competency names, definitions and narrative language
-
Your logo, colors, charts and layout, page by page
Custom dashboards
Your framework across a whole population
-
Compare populations in your own competency language
-
Target development where it will do most
Custom potential models
Potential defined the way you define it
-
Built on the Leadership Potential Dashboard method
-
Fairness tested as the model is built
From your framework to release
Nothing gets built until you have seen it. The mapping and the mock-ups happen before the build, so what arrives is what you signed off.
We start with your competency or leadership framework and how you want it used, then align it to the assessment data so the reports carry your language and your priorities rather than ours.
We create example report pages in your branding and structure, so you can see how the final output looks and reads before anything is built. This is where most of the useful argument happens.
Once the design and structure are agreed, we build your reports and test them, so the wording holds up whoever is being described and the output works for the decision it has to support.
Your reports go live aligned to your framework, branding and use case, with content released in planned stages where that suits your rollout, so the first use case is live while the rest is still being built.
Start with your own framework
The first conversation is a scoping one: what the reports have to do, who reads them, which framework they map to. Timelines and cost depend on those answers, so we work them out with you. If you want us to run the assessment process too, that is our managed assessment service.
Questions
The questions buyers ask before a custom reporting scope call.
Competency names and definitions, the narrative and recommendations, the charts, colors, scoring displays and layout, the branding, and which audience each version is written for. The assessment itself and the science behind the scoring stay as they are, so you can stand behind every report.
No. Most clients bring a competency, values or leadership framework and we map to it. If you do not have one, the mapping stage defines the criteria with you first, in the same way as role success profiling.
Yes. Custom reporting is what we used to call bespoke reporting. Same service, clearer name: reports and dashboards built around your framework, your language and your branding. You can see the range of the work in our client case studies.
It depends on the report type and how quickly the framework mapping is signed off, so we scope it with you before committing to a date. Mapping and mock-ups are the stages that move; the build and release run to plan once the design is agreed.
Yes, and it is one of the most common requests. Targeted versions for hiring managers, assessors, participants or leadership teams mean each reader gets the depth they need and nothing they do not.
Tell us what your report needs
Send us your framework and the decision it supports, and we will tell you what is possible.
