The role

We are seeking a commercially minded Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys working across functions.

Responsibilities

FP&A analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide monthly revenue and cost variance analysis and commentary as part of monthly reporting.
  • Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly reforecast and long-term planning processes.
  • Maintain and improve financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Be a key driver of providing commercial input and acumen across the business to ensure data driven decision making.
  • Assist in preparing board reports and investor presentations.
  • Partner with commercial and operational teams to provide financial and analytical oversight – this would include such things as evaluate sales pipeline, new business wins, pricing strategies, product profitability, ROI on marketing initiatives, etc.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards for internal stakeholders.
  • Support scenario planning and business case development for new initiatives.

Requirements

  • Part-qualified or qualified (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA) preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or a similar analytical role.
  • Very strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, relationship building and communication skills.
  • High energy, drive and determination.
  • Comfortable working in a small team, self starter with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) desirable.
  • Experience in HR tech, SaaS, digital products, or B2B services desirable.
  • Exposure to international sales and multi-currency environments desirable.
