We are looking for a Graduate Translation Project Coordinator to join our growing Translation team, part of the Research and Development function.

The Translation team is responsible for developing and maintaining our international portfolio of psychometric assessments in over 35 languages.

This is a permanent and full-time role, with an immediate start date.

  • project manage the translation and maintenance of highly technical psychometric assessments (including aptitude and personality) into over 35 languages
  • drive customer satisfaction by steering multiple projects simultaneously, whilst maintaining exceptional quality standards, meeting deadlines and budgets
  • learn about our psychometric assessments from Occupational Psychology colleagues, so that you can support translators to provide the most accurate and appropriate translations
  • use CAT tools to facilitate the translation process, ensuring consistency by utilizing Translation Memories and carrying out QA checks; and using internal web-based applications to build the online translated assessment
  • develop strong working relationships with colleagues, translators and Saville Assessment’s international partners
  • work in a structured and methodical way, whilst also showing resilience and adjusting positively and flexibly to changes and setbacks

We offer flexibility with hybrid working but do like to get together so there would be an expectation to spend some time in our office in New Malden.

About You

You will: 

  • have a degree in Translation Studies or equivalent, e.g. Modern Foreign Languages (including Translation modules)
  • be IT literate – competent in Microsoft Office, and have a willingness to learn CAT tools and other web-based applications
  • be fluent in English and ideally also a second language
  • be interested in learning about Psychology at work and Psychometrics
  • enjoy working on multiple complex projects simultaneously, effectively prioritizing to deliver on time and budget
  • be passionate about consistently delivering excellence by methodically following processes and processing large amounts of detail accurately
  • persevere through challenges and find the learning opportunities within them
  • be effective in both written and verbal communication

Assessment Process

The assessment process will include the following stages: 

If you meet the requirements for the role, you will be invited to take our online aptitude and behavioral assessments (guidance and preparation materials will be provided)

If successful, we will ask you to complete a short phone interview (guidance will be provided)

The final stage is a competency-based interview and supervised aptitude assessment (conducted remotely, we will ask you to complete a more in-depth behavioral assessment in advance)
